Sustainability isn't a side project at SCE — it's our business model. Every refurbished laptop keeps e-waste out of landfill, and our team carries that same responsibility beyond the workshop, into the communities and shorelines around us.

Our approach

Responsibility built into the business

Refurbishment is inherently green: instead of manufacturing new machines, we extend the life of good hardware that already exists. That means less mining, less manufacturing carbon, and less electronic waste — measurable environmental value in every unit we ship.

But we don't stop at what's good for business. Team SCE regularly rolls up its sleeves for community and coastal clean-ups, joining ESG programmes run with fellow entrepreneurs to give back to the environment that sustains us all.

Our people don't just talk sustainability — they show up for it. As part of an ESG programme run with fellow young entrepreneurs, Team SCE spent a morning clearing litter from a public park and shoreline, sorting and logging every bag collected.

It's the same standard we hold in the workshop — do the work properly, measure the result, and leave things better than we found them. Small acts, done together, add up to a cleaner community and a stronger team.
